About the role
A dynamic and multifaceted role within Atwell, LLC, where you can become a subject matter expert in residential, commercial, and/or industrial land development.
Responsibilities
- Site Plan Excellence: Draft preliminary and final site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D, ensuring precision and adherence to industry standards.
- Data Analysis: Assess existing site conditions through project survey data, considering legal descriptions, ALTA surveys, easement documents, and condo documents.
- Comprehensive Reporting: Prepare various reports, opinions, and recommendations crucial for project direction, including hydrology/hydraulic studies, due diligence/site analysis reports, engineer's opinion of probable costs, project schedules, utility computations, detention/retention computations, storm sewer reports, local and state permit applications, stormwater reports, soils reports, earthwork volume calculations, StormCAD reports, WaterCAD reports, and preliminary grading.
- Construction Support: Offer construction-related services such as permit applications, cut sheets, quantity estimates, and transmittals.
- Organize site plans, construction plans, and documents under the guidance of senior staff.
- Engineering Software Mastery: Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software packages to complete assignments efficiently, ensuring alignment with established standards.
- Effective Communication: Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills when collaborating with current staff members, ensuring seamless project coordination.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- 2+ years of experience
- EIT required
- AutoCAD Civil 3D, WaterCAD, StormCAD, SewerCAD, ICPR4 knowledge preferred
