Responsibilities
- Design and manage private land development projects from concept through construction.
- Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D to develop design concepts and construction documents.
- Prepare plans and designs for: Site layout and grading
- Stormwater management and storm drainage systems
- Water and sewer utilities
- Roadway design
- Erosion and sediment control
- Floodplain studies
- Cook with other project team members and disciplines to successfully meet project goals, schedules, and client expectations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other staff as needed to accomplish department objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Experience in private land development strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D required.
- Experience with site design, grading, stormwater management, utilities, and erosion and sediment control.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
