GZA GeoEnvironmental is seeking a Civil Engineer – Project Manager with 7+ years of experience to join our Civil Engineering Team in our Hooksett, New Hampshire office.

What You Will Be Doing
- Projects and work may include:
- Site layout and civil design for electrical and gas infrastructure and renewable energy projects
- Planning and design support for stormwater management systems
- Conducting/reviewing civil and hydrologic/hydraulic engineering technical analyses/calculations
- Development of permit-level site plans, stormwater management design, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPPs), and stormwater drainage reports
- Development of design drawings and technical specifications
- Providing technical input for permit application packages
- Communicating effectively and efficiently with clients and team members, including leading and participating in client meetings
- Preparing reports with Principal guidance and review
- Developing health and safety plans and managing implementation and compliance with GZA Health and Safety programs, policies, and procedures during on-site activities
- Developing scopes of work to meet client needs
- Project management duties, including coordination of project teams and preparation of budgets and schedules
- Assisting Principals with development of business opportunities with existing and potential new clients
What You Will Be Bringing
- NH Professional Engineer’s License or ability to obtain within 12 months, out-of-state PEs with the ability to transfer to NH will be considered
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering required
- 7+ years of civil engineering experience
- Highly motivated self-starter with a professional attitude and ability to work well with other professionals and contractors
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prepare clear and concise letters, memoranda, technical reports, and figures
- Experience in site development, grading, stormwater design, erosion & sediment control
- Responsive attitude when interacting with staff, peers, management, and clients
- OSHA 10-hour Construction and OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training are a plus
