About the role

This role involves outdoor work, interacting with various individuals and locations, making it a dynamic and fulfilling position. It contributes to community safety and traffic management.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure vehicles are parked appropriately on streets and in car parks.
  • Issue Penalty Charge Notices to vehicles that violate parking rules.
  • Engage with the public, providing guidance and answering questions.
  • Support the Council's mission to improve Bristol's roads and reduce congestion.

Requirements

  • Experience working with members of the public.
  • Good communication skills.
  • The ability to remain calm and handle tense situations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

No specific qualifications are required for this role, but experience in similar positions is preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
