Civil Construction Project Manager

Role: Civil Utility Construction Project ManagerLocation: Dedham, MA, USJob Type: Full-time, on-site; office-based with flexibility for remote work and site visitsPayout: $80,000–$150,000 per year, plus a year-end bonus. Role Overview:Lead civil utility construction projects from estimating through field execution and closeout. This position coordinates bids, purchasing, subcontractors, clients, and field teams while maintaining the budget, schedule, documentation, safety, and quality controls needed to deliver infrastructure work successfully. Key Responsibilities:Estimate costs and prepare competitive bids for utility construction projects.Procure materials, equipment, and subcontractors to support project execution.Coordinate subcontractors and clients, serving as a primary point of contact.Manage schedules, deadlines, records, budgets, and expenditures.Partner with field teams to resolve construction challenges and keep work moving.Attend site meetings and monitor project progress as needed.Ensure work meets project specifications, applicable industry regulations, and safety standards. Required Skills & Qualifications:At least five years of utility construction project-management experience.Demonstrated ability to manage large civil or infrastructure construction projects.Strong estimating and procurement capability.Strong communication, organization, leadership, and client/subcontractor relationship skills.Ability to work effectively across office and field settings.
