City Life West Paid Intern

About the role

The City Life West internship program offers hands-on learning opportunities in urban planning, community development, and sustainability initiatives. This position is designed for students who are passionate about making a positive impact on their local communities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting research on current urban issues and community needs
• Participate in planning meetings and workshops with city officials and community leaders
• Develop and implement community engagement strategies
• Conduct surveys and gather data to support project proposals
• Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a relevant field of study (e.g., Urban Studies, Environmental Science, Public Policy)
• Strong analytical and writing skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Experience with GIS software is a plus
