Job Summary

The Life Settlement Team at Valmark Financial Group is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and collaborative intern to support senior analysts in all aspects of the life settlement transaction process.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Develop a strong understanding of the Life Settlements business line and how it integrates with the firm’s broader financial services
• Provide day-to-day support to Case Managers, including responding to emails, navigating complex insurance carrier processes, and assisting financial advisers with case updates and issue resolution
• Cook up complex closing packages and facilitate communication between multiple internal departments and external partners
• Contribute to marketing efforts by creating, editing, and updating presentations, reports, and marketing materials
• Participate in research and analysis to support ongoing projects and new business initiatives
• Collaborate on special projects designed to advance team goals and improve operational efficiency

Requirements

• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Currently enrolled pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Sales, or a related field
• Availability to work onsite in Akron, OH: 16–24 hours per week during spring and fall semester, 30–40 hours per week during summer months

Pay

$20 per hour
