About the Role
This position supports the Kraus-Anderson (KA) Yard department by servicing internal customers through receiving, processing, and filling orders in person and over the telephone, as well as advising on prices and materials. The role also involves tracking inventory.
Responsibilities
- Accepts phone and email order requests for tools, equipment, and consumables, and documents delivery tickets in the ToolWatch System.
- Catalogs and numbers tools in the inventory system.
- Labels shelves and creates barcodes.
- Receives, tracks, and expedites incoming deliveries.
- Records and calculates maintenance records on vehicles and equipment.
- Prepares purchase orders for Field Superintendents and Yard Personnel.
- Ensures transfer accuracy.
- Maintains inventory log of maintenance supplies and Yard consumables.
- Checks out tools to Superintendents and projects based on real-time records of assignments.
- Manages Vendor Maintenance forms and W-9s.
- Manages yard email inboxes and mail.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- One year of Construction Sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated computer proficiency (MS Office 365 – Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction equipment and consumables.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
- Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging work goals.
- Ability to maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Ability to possess and maintain an exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of ToolWatch software program.
- Knowledge of ViewPoint software program.

Pay
Pay Range: $19.00 to $25.00 hourly, plus a discretionary incentive program. Pay is based on many factors including but not limited to education, skill, experience, training, certifications, and other business needs.
