Job Summary
The Citrix Infrastructure Administrator supports the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Compartmented Enterprise Services Office (CESO) program in Rosslyn, VA. The role involves configuring, administering, maintaining, and securing an enterprise Citrix environment supporting geographically distributed users across mission-critical Department of Defense networks.
Job-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Configure, administer, and maintain Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) environments supporting enterprise users.
- Manage and support Citrix ADC (NetScaler), StoreFront, Citrix Gateway, and other Citrix access components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve user connectivity, latency, performance, and application delivery issues across multiple geographic locations.
- Perform routine patching, upgrades, firmware updates, health checks, and maintenance activities for Citrix infrastructure and supporting platforms.
- Manage security controls, user access, and Active Directory integrations while ensuring compliance with government security requirements.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, system configurations, procedures, and operational runbooks.
- Support incident management, change management, and problem resolution activities in accordance with established processes.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, cybersecurity, and customer stakeholders to ensure reliable and secure service delivery.
Job-Specific Minimum Requirements
- Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, CySA+, GSEC, GICSP, or equivalent).
- Hands-on experience administering enterprise Citrix technologies including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD), XenApp, XenDesktop, StoreFront, and Citrix Gateway.
- Experience administering and troubleshooting Citrix ADC (NetScaler).
- Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, load balancing, and SSL/TLS certificates.
- Experience integrating Citrix solutions with Microsoft Active Directory environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting mission-critical systems requiring high availability and operational resilience.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional technical teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field; additional relevant experience may be substituted for a degree.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience supporting enterprise virtualization architectures and Citrix technologies.
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Experience supporting the Department of Defense, federal government, or similarly regulated environments is preferred.
- Citrix Certified Associate – Virtualization (CCA-V), Citrix Certified Professional – Virtualization (CCP-V), or equivalent Citrix certification.
Benefits
Annual salary range: $116,500.00 - $165,000.00.
