About the role

As a Citizens Teller, you’ll make a real difference for our customers and the branch team by greeting customers, using technology to assist with mobile app and ATM transactions, and creating positive experiences that help customers achieve their financial goals. You’ll provide personalized advice, connect customers to Bankers for next steps, and educate them on Citizens products and benefits while following all financial policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers in branch lobbies.
  • Demonstrate how to use mobile apps and ATMs to complete simple transactions.
  • Provide personalized advice and solutions to help customers meet their financial goals.
  • Connect customers to Bankers for further assistance when needed.
  • Educate customers on Citizens products and benefits.
  • Respond to customer questions and concerns effectively.
  • Follow all financial policies and procedures, including proper cash handling and compliance with state and local laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • High school degree or GED.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments).
  • Minimum of 1 year demonstrated customer experience, including recommending and referring products and services to customers.
  • Strong listening and communication skills.
  • Ability to ask questions and identify customer needs to enhance long-term relationships.
  • Ability to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
  • Customer-centric mindset to deliver exceptional service.
  • Comfortable using digital technology to support business goals.
  • Ability to work branch hours, which may include weekends and evenings.
  • Completion of a video interview assessment within 7 days of receiving the link.

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • 1 year of experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments).
  • Ability to motivate others through collaboration with teammates, business partners, and specialists.
  • Process-oriented, energetic, detail-oriented, and ability to multitask effectively.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $20.67 - $25.48 per hour. Actual pay is based on various factors including budget, work location, and relevant skills and experience.
