Pay

Starting salary: $21 per hour and up.

What You’ll Do

  • Greet customers in the lobby.
  • Demonstrate how to use the mobile app or ATMs to complete simple transactions.
  • Create amazing experiences for customers, looking for opportunities to help them achieve their financial goals by providing personalized advice and solutions, and connect them to Bankers for the next step.
  • Educate customers about Citizens products and benefits, responding effectively to questions or concerns.
  • Follow all financial policies and procedures, including proper cash handling and compliance with state and local laws and regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments).
  • Minimum of 1 year demonstrated customer experience, recommending and referring products and services to customers.
  • Strong listening and communication skills.
  • Ability to ask effective questions, identify needs, and develop long‑term customer relationships.
  • Problem‑solving skills and ability to provide solutions to customer issues.
  • Customer‑centric mindset to deliver exceptional service.
  • Comfortable using digital technology to support business goals.
  • Willingness to work branch hours, which may include weekends and evenings.
  • Qualified candidates must complete a video interview assessment within 7 days of receiving the link.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • 1 year of experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments).
  • Ability to motivate others—teammates, business partners, and specialists—through collaboration.
  • Process‑oriented, energetic, detail‑oriented, and able to multitask effectively.

Schedule

  • 40 hours per week.
  • Work schedule varies with branch needs and may include weekends and evenings.
