About the role
Our Tellers are the face of Citizens. Our best Tellers think from a relationship standpoint versus a transactional one, have a willingness to learn, and take responsibility for a customer.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers in our lobbies
- Demonstrate how to use our mobile app and ATMs for simple transactions
- Create amazing experiences for customers, offering personalized advice and solutions
- Provide educational guidance on Citizens products and benefits
- Follow financial policies and procedures, including proper cash handling and adherence to state and local laws and regulations
Requirements
- High School degree or GED
- Minimum of 6 months experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments)
- Minimum of 1 year demonstrated customer experience, recommending and referring products and services to customers
- Strong listening and communication skills
- Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to enhance and develop a long-term customer relationship
- Ability to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues
- Customer-centric to deliver exceptional service
- Comfortable with using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals
- Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings

Pay
Starting Salary: $21+/hour and up
Pay Transparency: The salary range for this position is $20.67 - $25.48 per hour. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the budget, work location, and relevant skills and experience.
Schedule
Hours per Week: 35
Work Schedule: Varies with branch needs and may include weekends and evenings
