About the role
As a Citizens Teller, you make a real difference for our customers and the branch team.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers in our lobbies.
- Demonstrate how to use our mobile app and ATMs to complete simple transactions.
- Create amazing experiences for customers by providing personalized advice and solutions that meet their financial needs, and connect them to our Bankers for the next step.
- Educate customers on Citizens products and benefits, and respond effectively to their questions or concerns.
- Follow all financial policies and procedures, including proper cash handling, and comply with state and local laws and regulations.

Requirements
- High School degree or GED.
- Minimum of 6 months experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments).
- Minimum of 1 year demonstrated customer experience, recommending and referring products and services.
- Strong listening and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to develop long-term customer relationships.
- Problem-solving skills to provide solutions to customer issues.
- Customer-centric approach to deliver exceptional service.
- Comfortable using digital technology to support business goals.
- Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
Preferred Skills
- 1 year of experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments).
- Ability to motivate others through collaboration.
- Process-oriented, energetic, detail-oriented, and ability to multitask effectively.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $20.67 - $25.48 per hour. Actual pay is based on various factors including budget, work location, and relevant skills and experience.
Schedule
- Hours per week: 40.
- Work schedule varies with branch needs and may include weekends and evenings.
