About the role

As a Citizens Teller, you make a real difference for our customers and the branch team.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers in our lobbies.
  • Demonstrate how to use our mobile app and ATMs to complete simple transactions.
  • Create amazing experiences for customers by providing personalized advice and solutions that meet their financial needs, and connect them to our Bankers for the next step.
  • Educate customers on Citizens products and benefits, and respond effectively to their questions or concerns.
  • Follow all financial policies and procedures, including proper cash handling, and comply with state and local laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • High School degree or GED.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments).
  • Minimum of 1 year demonstrated customer experience, recommending and referring products and services.
  • Strong listening and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to develop long-term customer relationships.
  • Problem-solving skills to provide solutions to customer issues.
  • Customer-centric approach to deliver exceptional service.
  • Comfortable using digital technology to support business goals.
  • Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.

Preferred Skills

  • 1 year of experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments).
  • Ability to motivate others through collaboration.
  • Process-oriented, energetic, detail-oriented, and ability to multitask effectively.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $20.67 - $25.48 per hour. Actual pay is based on various factors including budget, work location, and relevant skills and experience.

Schedule

  • Hours per week: 40.
  • Work schedule varies with branch needs and may include weekends and evenings.
