About the role
The University of Virginia's School of Education and Human Development seeks qualified applicants for the Department of Curriculum, Instruction, and Special Education to teach and provide content expertise for programs in curriculum and instruction. Opportunities may be on grounds in Charlottesville, Virginia and/or online during the Summer 2026, Fall 2026, and Spring 2027 semesters.
Responsibilities
- Teach graduate-level courses in curriculum and instruction or related fields.
- Teach undergraduate courses in curriculum and instruction or related fields.
- Provide content expertise for programs in curriculum and instruction.
- Have a strong commitment to teaching excellence.
- Have previous PreK-12 and post-secondary education teaching experience in the course content area.
Requirements
- Terminal degree (PhD; EdD) in Education specializing in curriculum and instruction or a related field for graduate-level course instructors.
- Master’s degree or terminal degree specializing in curriculum and instruction or a related field for undergraduate course instructors.
- Previous PreK-12 and post-secondary education teaching experience in the course content area is strongly preferred.
Qualifications
