CIRC - Resident Services Coordinator (Auburn & Federal Way, WA)
About the role
Create collaborative relationships with residents, property managers, and community providers to support independent living.
Develop and grow a network of contacts with service providers and agencies for resident referrals.
Identify needs of and educate residents on available services, help them to navigate and assist in applying for resources.
Utilize agency database for timely tracking of Resident Engagements (i.e., progress notes, care plans, referrals made, follow-up dates).
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Bachelors’ degree in social work, public health, or human services, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- An approachable friendly demeanor and a sensitivity to various interpersonal styles.
- Direct experience providing services to low-income households, seniors, and/or adults with disabilities, including the provision of information and referral services preferably in a housing setting.
- Direct experience in navigating local/county/state systems (DSHS, Medicare/Medicaid, mental health, etc.) and community resources with positive outcomes.
- Proven experience in service management including organizing, problem-solving and advocating.
- Ability to multitask, fulfill multiple projects with minimal supervision.
- Comfort with working independently while a part of a larger team.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Outlook, Teams).
Qualifications
- Exceptional written, oral and presentation skills.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with community resource databases and systems.
Benefits
Temporary Part Time opportunity (for approximately 4 months, 24 hours per week)
Pays $22 to $26 per hour DOE
Supports the Auburn Court Senior Affordable Apartments in Auburn, WA and the Meridian Court Senior Affordable Apartments in Federal Way, WA)
