About the role

Santander is evolving from a high-impact brand into a technology-driven organization. This role supports that transformation by providing confidential secretarial and administrative support to multiple directors/managers and their teams within the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) division.

Responsibilities

  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and book meeting rooms.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including booking travel tickets and settling related expenses.
  • Conduct administrative and office-related project functions.
  • Create and monitor filing systems; ensure efficiency in copying/collating complex materials.
  • Circulate presentation materials and other documents for meeting attendees.
  • Take and relay messages; escalate calls to appropriate personnel.
  • Organize and maintain diaries, schedules, and appointments.
  • Draft emails and other documentation as instructed for management review.
  • Prepare purchase orders and obtain necessary approvals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Business Administration or a related field (Required).
  • 3+ years of administrative support experience (Required).
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive material with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Professional maturity with prior corporate environment experience.
  • Ability to interact effectively with senior-level management and external clients.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and planning skills; ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in software programs, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated calendar management and scheduling skills.
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a positive, adaptable approach to tasks.
  • Professional demeanor and flexibility in a fast-changing environment.
  • Support for a trading floor environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military service, or education.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (including Teams), Concur T&E, Workday, CCure, Adobe, and PowerPoint.

Pay

The annualized base pay range for this position is $61,875.00 – $105,000.00 USD. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and location.

  • Frequent minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing, and walking.
