About the role
Santander is evolving from a high-impact brand into a technology-driven organization. This role supports that transformation by providing confidential secretarial and administrative support to multiple directors/managers and their teams within the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) division.
Responsibilities
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and book meeting rooms.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, including booking travel tickets and settling related expenses.
- Conduct administrative and office-related project functions.
- Create and monitor filing systems; ensure efficiency in copying/collating complex materials.
- Circulate presentation materials and other documents for meeting attendees.
- Take and relay messages; escalate calls to appropriate personnel.
- Organize and maintain diaries, schedules, and appointments.
- Draft emails and other documentation as instructed for management review.
- Prepare purchase orders and obtain necessary approvals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Business Administration or a related field (Required).
- 3+ years of administrative support experience (Required).
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive material with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Professional maturity with prior corporate environment experience.
- Ability to interact effectively with senior-level management and external clients.
- Strong organizational, time management, and planning skills; ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in software programs, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated calendar management and scheduling skills.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a positive, adaptable approach to tasks.
- Professional demeanor and flexibility in a fast-changing environment.
- Support for a trading floor environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military service, or education.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products (including Teams), Concur T&E, Workday, CCure, Adobe, and PowerPoint.
Pay
The annualized base pay range for this position is $61,875.00 – $105,000.00 USD. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and location.
