Volunteer Requirements

• You can speak, read, and write Chinese at a fluent level (CEFR C1 or above) — no need to be a native speaker or born in China!
• You can dedicate 2 hours/week to this position (all work will be asynchronous: you’ll receive a task to complete in a WeChat group chat once a week. There may be occasional meetings as required).
• You can download Douyin and Xiaohongshu, and can commit to checking those platforms at least once a day.

Additional Information

• This is an unpaid position.
• The post may count as either an internship (if you are 18+ with US work authorization) or a volunteer opportunity, but not both.
• Volunteer certificates and recommendation letters will be available on request.
