Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business objectives for 4 separate and distinct brand channels meeting objectives including brand awareness, community building, and sales conversion
- Define content strategy and personas for each product category (watches, jewelry, handbags, live selling) while maintaining cohesive brand storytelling
- Create and manage monthly content calendars that balance promotional, educational, and community-focused content
- Monitor competitor social activity and cultural moments that are in line with our industry and brand to inform strategy and identify concept opportunities
- Produce, direct, or coordinate high-quality, on-brand content for Instagram and TikTok, including Reels, Stories, TikToks, carousels, and static posts
- Film, edit, and optimize video content that drives engagement and aligns with platform-specific best practices
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop supplemental content assets and ensure visual consistency
- Write compelling copy and captions that reflect brand voice and drive audience action, in collaboration with the copy team
- Identify and capitalize on emerging on-brand trends with speed and creative judgement
- Source and curate user-generated content to supplement original creative
- Ideate, manage and plan content for internal brand influencers for sharing on personal & corporate accounts
- Build and engage with our online community through authentic interaction and timely responses via comments, messages and mentions across core accounts
- Identify partnership and collaboration opportunities that align with brand values
- Test and iterate on new content formats, features, and platform opportunities
- Track, analyze, and report on performance using social media analytics, presenting findings and sharing future roadmap impacts
- Input leads that come from social media into CRM
- People Management: Directly manage a content creator based in our Baltimore location, serving as their day-to-day manager
- Provide clear creative briefs, constructive feedback and hands on coaching on content quality, platform best practices and brand standards
- Set performance expectations and conduct regular check-ins, supporting professional growth and development
- Collaboration with creator to ensure Baltimore generated content aligns with overall strategy and brand voice
Qualifications
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in social media management
- Strong use and understanding of social media scheduling tools
- Proven experience managing Instagram and TikTok accounts
- Strong understanding of social media marketing strategies, analytics and performance metrics
- Experience with trend casting and identifying viral or emerging content
- Strong communication skills and creative mindset
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- PREFERRED: Experience with or strong enthusiasm for luxury brands
- PREFERRED: Experience working with cross-functional teams (creative, product, marketing)
- PREFERRED: Photo and video editing skills
- PREFERRED: At least 1 year in a senior lead or people management role
- PREFERRED: Familiarity with live shopping formats and the ability to create content that drives real-time audience engagement
