Responsibilities
- Handle interpreting sessions promptly and professionally
- Render correct concepts and meanings in both languages
- Maintain a professional demeanor and remain calm during interpreting sessions
- Understand and follow protocol for various industries
- Provide cultural sensitivity and handle sensitive topics
- Adapt to LLS technology enhancements
Requirements
- Fluency in Chin Senthang and English
- Cultural competency and regional/accent awareness
- Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills
- Ability to concentrate and remain neutral during interpreting sessions
- Education or work experience in language-related fields preferred
- Work authorization that does not require visa sponsorship
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and write requested languages preferred
Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Access to a quiet space for work
- Ability to operate a personal device for business purposes
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of operating systems
- Manual dexterity to operate a keyboard and mouse
- Physical stamina to lift up to 26 lbs
Skills
- Fluency in both Chin Senthang and English
- Cultural sensitivity and awareness
- Professional demeanor and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Technical proficiency with company-provided software and systems

Pay

Schedule
This is a remote position where interpreters work from their own homes. A high-speed internet connection is required for work-related electronic communication.
