Chimney Systems - Strategic Account Manager - Arizona
This is a remote, field-based position focused on driving revenue growth for Schebler Chimney Systems within the Arizona market.
About the role
The Strategic Account Manager develops and executes a territory growth strategy, builds relationships with key decision-makers, identifies early project opportunities, and converts them into revenue. This proactive, outside-sales role operates with a high degree of autonomy, managing the Arizona territory and pipeline to meet annual revenue and margin targets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory growth plan aligned with company sales objectives.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold outreach, networking, and market engagement.
- Engage engineers, contractors, building owners, developers, and other decision-makers to drive product specifications and sales.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key market partners to increase product awareness and sales opportunities.
- Generate, manage, and maintain an active sales pipeline by tracking leads, quotes, project stages, and expected close dates.
- Maintain consistent communication with customers and prospects to advance opportunities and improve conversion rates.
- Analyze current and past quote activity to assess future opportunities, prioritize efforts, and forecast growth.
- Partner with engineering and internal teams to support technical discussions, product applications, and solution development.
- Monitor market, competitor, and construction activity to identify trends and inform strategic territory planning.
- Increase Schebler’s visibility in Arizona through customer visits, presentations, training, and industry engagement.
- Assist customers with technical support escalations, engineering, and design assistance.
- Collaborate with executive management on sales processes, strategy, and sales/marketing budgets.
- Participate in industry trade shows and regional events to strengthen market presence and identify new opportunities.
- Assist in developing and implementing strategic marketing plans with the Marketing Manager.
- Create sales presentations and other documentation and materials.
- Share market feedback to support research and development of new products and offerings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering preferred.
- 3–7 years of outside sales, technical sales, or business development experience, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or related industries.
- Experience calling on engineers, contractors, or building owners preferred.
- Experience managing a territory and working remotely preferred.
- Must be physically located in Arizona.

- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Mechanical preferred.
Schedule
- Frequent travel throughout the Arizona territory is required (up to 50%).
- Occasional overnight and out-of-state travel for training, meetings, and industry events.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, talk, or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and may be exposed to moderate noise levels.
