Children's Minister

About the role

Green Valley Church is seeking a Children’s Minister to lead one of the fastest growing areas of the church. Green Valley is a staff-led, growing church of 400 in weekly worship attendance, where families and ministry to children and their parents are a high priority.

Responsibilities

• Provide energy, vision, leadership, and direction for the Children’s Ministry.
• Engage in the greater mission of the church as a member of the Family Ministries staff.
• Provide clarity and direction regarding the discipleship and development of age-related ministries for Kindergarten through 5th grade.
• Provide training and support for all children’s volunteers.
• Oversee and maintain a safe, secure, and loving environment for all children.
• Manage the children’s ministry budget and resources, making recommendations that will grow the ministry and its effectiveness.
• Communicate, serve, and equip parents, volunteers, and church leadership.
• Guide all aspects of Children’s Ministry to assist in raising Godly boys and girls to make a difference for the Kingdom in their schools, families, and all areas of life.
