Children Minister
About the role
Holly Brook Baptist Church is a gospel-centered congregation committed to making disciples, strengthening families, and raising up the next generation in the knowledge and love of Jesus Christ. We believe that children and preschoolers are not merely the future of the church, they are the church today. We are seeking a gifted, experienced Children’s Minister to lead our children’s and preschool ministries with vision, passion, and an unwavering commitment to the Gospel. We are praying for a minister who genuinely loves kids and their families, sees children’s ministry as a calling, is a spiritually mature follower of Christ who leads from the overflow of their own walk with God, can cast and sustain a gospel‑driven vision for the next generation, and delights in partnering with parents to make the home the primary place of faith formation.

Qualifications
- Genuine, demonstrated personal faith in Jesus Christ and active membership in a local church
- Bachelor’s Degree required (degree in Christian Education, Ministry, or related field preferred)
- Minimum of 4 years of paid children’s ministry experience
- Proven ability to recruit, train, and lead volunteer teams
- Strong communication skills with children, parents, and church leadership
- Familiarity with Southern Baptist doctrine, polity, and convention resources
- A heart for evangelism and discipleship of children from birth through 5th grade

Pay
Salary: $40,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications
