Children's Intensive CSS

Role and Responsibilities

• Obtain and maintain certification to perform CSS, including completing annual training and submitting applications independently.
• Meet productivity goals through planning and support from management.
• Provide case management, ongoing client assessments, and develop treatment plans.
• Cookordinate services with other agencies and offer supportive counseling to clients and families.
• Assist clients with benefits, housing, medication management, and access to community services.
• Conduct home visits based on client needs and advocate for clients.
• Provide family counseling and education about mental illness.
• Maintain a caseload with proper documentation, attend meetings, and submit reports.
• Handle tasks related to billing, authorization, and compliance with payors.
• Participate in supervisory meetings, training, grant activities, and networking.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field.
• Ability to relate effectively to severely mentally ill individuals.
• Valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, safe driving record, and transportation.
• Maintain a Communicare insurable driving record.
