Children's Fitness Instructor - The Little Gym of West Knoxville

About the Role

The Little Gym is seeking energetic, kid-loving Children's Fitness Instructors to teach classes, lead birthday parties, and provide outstanding customer service. You’ll work weekends as part of a team, delivering our proven curriculum while making a positive impact on children’s growth and development. Many leaders in our company started in this role, offering opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging classes and lead birthday parties using our proven curriculum and teaching method.
• Coordinate all aspects of birthday parties to ensure a magical experience for families.
• Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming membership experience.
• Lead activities that foster confidence and skills in children through movement-based learning and imaginative play.

Requirements

• Background in child development, physical education, gymnastics, dance, or early childhood education (preferred but not required).
• Enthusiasm for working with kids and parents—you’re the kind of person both love!
• Ability to be playful and energetic (e.g., giving air high-fives, acting like a dinosaur).
• Strong customer service skills and a passion for making others feel good.
• Willingness to work weekends as part of a team.

Pay

$14.00 - $18.00 per hour.

About the Company

The Little Gym is the world’s premier enrichment and physical development center for children ages 4 months through 12 years. For over 40 years, we’ve helped children build confidence and skills through movement-based learning, gymnastics, dance, and imaginative play. Our programs include parent/child classes, camps, Parents’ Survival Nights, skill clinics, and birthday parties. This role is with Somersault Operating, a franchisee with 30 locations across 8 states (SC, NC, VA, TN, PA, NJ, WA, CA) and plans for expansion.
