Little Hands Daycare is a licensed childcare center seeking Floaters to work with all age groups. We are a family-oriented, close-knit organization offering a fun and positive work environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma OR GED
  • One year of classroom experience
  • Ability to pass all background checks
  • CDA or AA highly preferred
  • Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm

Pay

$15.10 - $17.00 per hour, based on education and experience. Now offering a $500 Sign On Bonus (paid out in two halves after 30 and 90 days of employment) for full-time hires.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate one week in advance using current curriculum guides
  • Implement lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development and carry out lesson plans according to classroom schedule/daily routine
  • Use our parent communication app efficiently
  • Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children
  • Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs
  • Maintain an organized, clean, safe, and appropriately decorated classroom
  • Maintain a child assessment and portfolio for each child, as well as conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences during the month of November and May
  • Carry out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children
