About the role

As a Childcare Assistant Teacher/Floater at Kids First Learning Center, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission to provide high-quality early childhood education. You will assist teachers in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years. Your responsibilities may include assisting with daily activities such as meal preparation, supervising outdoor play, and helping with classroom management.

Responsibilities

  • Assist teachers in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years.
  • Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, supervising outdoor play, and helping with classroom management.
  • Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through various activities and interactions.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience working with children in a childcare setting is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Valid CPR and first aid certification.

Pay

The starting salary for this position is $18.00 per hour.

Schedule

Shifts are typically 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with some flexibility based on department needs.
