Preschool Teacher Assistant ($500 Signing Bonus)

Job Summary

Engage children in activities designed to promote social, emotional, physical and developmental growth in preparation to reach Kindergarten School Readiness Goals. Utilize Program Curriculum to work with children on a daily basis to address individual educational goals. Work with families to support their child in their educational success.

Compensation

• Tulalip TA I: $21.48 per hour, DOE
• Tulalip TA II: $23.22 per hour, DOE

The Signing Bonus is paid out in two installments: - 1st installment of the bonus is paid on your FIRST paycheck. - 2nd installment of the bonus is paid after successful completion of your 90 day probationary period.

Minimum Required Education

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• CDA or First stackable for Teacher Assistant II

Minimum Related Experience

• Six (6) months of experience working with children (birth to five) and families in childcare, education, classroom or related field

Required Licenses/Certifications/Prerequisites

• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Pediatric CPR/First Aid Certificate
• Food Handler’s card
• Must abide by departments MMR (Measles, Mumps and Rubella) vaccination policy
• Must pass an Agility exam to determine if physically capable to perform the job functions
