About the role

We are seeking a Childcare Teacher to join our team at New Horizon Academy in our classrooms.

Responsibilities

• Delight in our beautifully equipped classrooms
• Support and encourage children with the help of our knowledgeable support staff
• Act as a brain-builder to help shape the leaders of tomorrow
• Communicate effectively with children, families, and staff
• Understand and adhere to state licensing regulations and company policies

Requirements

• Minimum of 16 qualifying semester credits or a CDA to be considered teacher-qualified under MN Rule 3
• Ability to work a flexible, full-time schedule, Monday-Friday
• Positive work ethic and a team-centered attitude
• Willingness to learn and grow as an educator
• Enjoyment working with children
• Meets or exceeds state qualifications for the position
• Previous experience in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred but not required)
• Must satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations
• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States
• Physical abilities to perform required job duties with or without accommodations

Pay

Hourly wage range: $19.00 - $23.00
