Full-time Lead Teacher at Sequim's Little Explorers Early Learning Center, where we empower children to grow and thrive in a nurturing environment. Our team is seeking a dedicated educator who can foster lifelong confidence and a genuine curiosity to explore the world. With a focus on building strong partnerships with parents, we provide unwavering support for their child's growth from infancy to the preschool years. Location: Sequim, WA.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, nurturing, and safe environment that encourages children to grow and explore.
• Maintain professional attitudes and loyalty to the school at all times.
• Interact with children to encourage their involvement in activities.
• Plan and implement the daily program based on an emergent curriculum outline.
• Maintain child-to-staff ratios and keep children within visual and auditory range at all times.
• Establish and maintain good communication with parents on a daily basis and with monthly newsletters.
• Use positive discipline and treat all children with dignity and respect.
• Attend staff meetings and recommended training programs and conferences.
• Assist the director in explaining the program to visitors and in any other appropriate ways.
• Prepare a warm and safe environment that is orderly, clean, and appealing.
• Develop and provide a nurturing and responsive learning
