Position available in the Richmond Hill and Savannah area.
Responsibilities
- Train teachers on curriculum, developmentally appropriate practices, and quality-rating practices
- Ensure classroom lesson plans are completed and implemented
- Assist with the hiring and on-boarding of new teachers
- Work collaboratively with Center Director to provide feedback, assess needs, and recommend solutions
- Ensure adequate classroom materials
- Develop and track teacher professional development plans
- Complete classroom observations and growth plans, as needed
- Coordinate and facilitate semi-annual parent/teacher conferences
- Plan, coordinate, and assist in the execution of summer camp
- Ensure all regulatory and company policies are observed in classrooms
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Minimum of a CDA or TCC required
- Associate's degree in early childhood education or related field preferred
- At least 2 - 5 years of experience as a lead teacher in a licensed childcare facility required
- Creative Curriculum experience/knowledge required
- Must possess knowledge and understanding of all current state and local regulations
- Proficient computer skills in a wide variety of business-related software programs
- Meet all state requirements for classroom teaching positions, and maintain state in-service requirements

Pay
Hourly pay range: $19-$20 per hour. Pay is determined by level of education and years of experience, with increases for continued education, performance, and years of service.
