Description

Oxford Babies is a licensed childcare center seeking a Cook/Dietary Aide. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, energetic candidate who is passionate about early childhood education.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Serve Safe certificate
• Ability to pass all background checks
• Previous childcare experience is a plus

Compensation

$15 an hour, based on education and experience

Hiring Process

• Resume screen
• Phone screen with recruiter (30 minutes)
• On-site interview with Center Director (30-45 minutes)

Main Job Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritious well-balanced meals that meet food program requirements for items served
• Oversee the maintenance of a clean, orderly, and sanitary kitchen
• Manage monthly inventory on non-food items, such as cups, plates, etc., as well as all food items needed for the food service order; disperse groceries, food service, and paper supply order to appropriate areas of the building
• Request items within budget for additional equipment needed to help maintain the kitchen and mealtimes on track and turn in request to the Center Director
• Assist in the classrooms as needed by relieving teachers for breaks and being an additional support resource
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role
