Cook/Dietary Aide

About the role

Caring Places Management is seeking a Cook/Dietary Aide to join the team at Hillside Place, a senior living community in Lincoln City, OR. This position offers a unique opportunity to prepare healthy homemade meals for a vulnerable population.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve nutritious meals to residents - Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area - Assist with meal planning and menu preparation - Ensure food safety and compliance with health regulations - Collaborate with other care staff to support resident needs

Requirements

- High School Diploma or equivalent - Must be 18 years or older - Successful completion of a criminal background check - Current Food Handler’s License (or ability to obtain upon hire) - Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 35 pounds - CPR/First Aid certification is preferred

Qualifications

- Experience in a similar role is a plus - Strong communication skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Positive attitude and willingness to learn
