Childcare Cook/Dietary Aide

Main Job Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritious well-balanced meals that meet food program requirements.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and sanitary kitchen.
• Manage monthly inventory on non-food items and food items needed for the food service order.
• Disperse groceries, food service, and paper supply orders to appropriate areas of the building.
• Request items within budget for additional equipment needed to help maintain the kitchen and mealtimes on track.
• Turn in requests to the Center Director.
• Assist in classrooms as needed by relieving teachers for breaks and being an additional support resource.
• Fulfill all physical requirements of the role, including lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Serve Safe certificate
• Ability to pass all background checks
• Previous childcare experience is a plus

Compensation

Compensation: $15 - $16 an hour, based on education and experience

About the Role

The Learning Grove Academy Jonesboro is a licensed childcare center seeking a Cook/Dietary Aide. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, energetic candidate who is passionate about early childhood education.
