Key Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and evaluate care based on assessments
- Monitor and resolve breastfeeding issues
- Educate patients and staff on lactation management
- Create a supportive environment for breastfeeding families
Qualifications
- Graduate of a School of Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in labor and delivery or lactation consultation
- Valid Georgia RN license and multistate licensure (NLC/eNCL)
- Required certifications: BCLS, NRP, and IBCLC
- PREFERRED: CLC certification
