Childbirth Educator

About the role

The Childbirth Educator at St Joseph Medical Center will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering essential healthcare-related educational and training programs. The role involves actively assisting in scheduling and conducting diverse healthcare training programs, providing direct coordination and/or instruction in various educational initiatives, and ensuring effective learning experiences for all participants.

To be successful, the Childbirth Educator should combine strong organizational and presentation skills with a deep understanding of healthcare education, a passion for teaching, and the ability to effectively engage and train diverse groups of healthcare professionals and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in scheduling and conducting diverse healthcare training programs.
• Provide direct coordination and/or instruction in various educational initiatives.
• Ensure effective learning experiences for all participants.

Requirements

• One year of work experience in Adult Education, plus one year of recent work experience in assigned course topic areas that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge skills/abilities required.
• Completion of Childbirth Education course by accredited institution/organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of Childbirth Education course by accredited institution/organization.

Pay

The posted compensation range of $30.91 - $51.00 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
