About the role
Under the general supervision of the program director or designee, perform a variety of social work, group, and outreach activities to individuals and families.
Responsibilities
- Perform all tasks as required in the written plan.
- Meet productivity requirements as established by the program director or designee.
- Provide client monitoring and linkage to appropriate services both within LSSI and other community agencies.
- Complete and submit all necessary reports, billing, and documentation accurately and on time as required by agency and funding sources.
- Communicate with supervisor, work group, and collateral agencies regarding individual's and/or family's needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma (or GED) required; AA Degree with two years of college preferred.
- Age requirement may apply.
- Record of compliance with the law and clearance on the Illinois CANTS.
- Basic knowledge of child development and parenting or equivalent life experience preferred.
- Demonstrate ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear, comprehensible manner.
- Valid driver's license in good standing for the state of residency required.
- Access to reliable transportation for visits, meetings, and to transport clients as needed.
- Valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage, bodily injury, and property damage.

Pay
$15.80–$18.30/hour
Schedule
Part-time, varies: 2 days a week plus Saturdays.
