Child Welfare Case Aide

Essential Functions

• Perform all tasks as required in the written plan.
• Maintain productivity requirements as established by the program director or designee.
• Monitor and link clients to appropriate services within LSSI and other community agencies.
• Complete and submit necessary reports, billing, and documentation accurately and on time.
• Communicate with supervisor, work group, and collateral agencies regarding individual's and/or family's needs.

Position Qualifications

• A high school diploma (or GED) is required.
• An AA degree with two years of college experience is preferred.
• Age requirements may apply.
• Must have a record of compliance with the law and clearance on the Illinois CANTS.
• Preferred knowledge of child development and parenting or equivalent life experience.
• Must demonstrate clear, comprehensible verbal and written communication skills.
• A valid driver's license in good standing for the state of residency is required.
• Access to reliable transportation for visits, meetings, and transporting clients is necessary.
• A valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage, including bodily injury and property damage, is required.

Pay

$15.80 - $18.30 hourly.

Schedule

Part-time, Monday through Friday.
