Pay
- Level I (Q80A): $66,666.67 + Full State Employee Benefits
- Level II (Q80B): $71,428.57 + Full State Employee Benefits
- Level III (Q80C): $76,190.48 + Full State Employee Benefits
- Level IV (Q80D): $85,714.29 + Full State Employee Benefits
Requirements
- Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain required car insurance.
- Job-related travel is OCCASIONAL.
Qualifications
Level I
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- License to practice law in State of Oklahoma
- Membership in Oklahoma Bar Association
Level II
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- License to practice law in State of Oklahoma
- Active membership of the Oklahoma Bar Association
- Two years of legal experience or adjudicative experience
Level III
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- License to practice law in State of Oklahoma
- Active membership of the Oklahoma Bar Association
- Five years of legal experience or adjudicative experience
Level IV
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- License to practice law in State of Oklahoma
- Active membership with the Oklahoma Bar Association
- Seven years of legal experience including two years of litigation, or agency-defined experience in the practice of law (e.g., tax), or supervisory experience
Responsibilities
- Focus on juvenile matters involving child support-related issues
- Appearances at the Juvenile Division of the District Court in Tulsa
- Preparation and filing of pleadings and trial of cases in child support-related hearings in district and administrative courts
- Consultation and negotiation with other attorneys and customers of Oklahoma Child Support Services
- Interpretation of laws, regulations, opinions of the court, and policy
- Train and assist staff with the preparation of legal documents
- Ensure compliance with ethical considerations
Preferences
Preference may be given to candidates with experience in child support.
