About the role
Lifesteps is hiring two part-time Early Intervention Screeners to assess and evaluate infants and children as they grow and develop. This position works out of the Beaver Office Wednesday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. No weekends, evenings, or holidays.
Responsibilities
- Schedule, administer, score, and interpret developmental screenings for children ages birth to 5 years old
- Share screening results with parents in a professional, non-threatening manner
- Provide parents with information on developmentally appropriate activities and child development
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, Family Studies, Psychology, or a related Human Service field or High School Diploma with a CDA Certificate
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Current driver’s license and ability to travel for business with a personal vehicle
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with children, such as child development assessment, prior work as a Teacher Aide, childcare staff, daycare employee, or AGS
