Title: Child Care Worker Location: NARA Northwest Adult Residential Facility - 620 NE 2nd St, Gresham OR, 97030 (during remodeling period of 2-3 years, after which the location will be in Northwest Portland) Schedule: Onsite, Mon-Fri 8:00am - 5:00pm. Position Overview Our Child Care Workers play a vital role in nurturing and supporting young children’s development. They create a safe, engaging environment where children can explore, learn, and grow. Child Care Workers are responsible for providing care and supervision for children whose parents are receiving and participating in NARA’s health and wellness services and special events. What You Will Do Provide education and recreational activities for children.Keep documentation daily of child’s progress. Drive children to appointments or events, on an infrequent basis.Prepare and serve snacks to children.Notify Case Manager and the Child Development Managers of progress or problems regarding childcare.Help facilitate ASQ questionnaire/SE for all children onsite.Practice child safety policies and procedures, and complete required training.Follow policies and procedures per NARA NW, DELC, DHS, and OSHA regulations.
