About the role

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities
- Assist in providing and leading planned activities for program participants
- Interact with children and youth using approved child guidance and youth development techniques
- Maintain program participation data and complete required daily reports
- Prepare, arrange, and maintain indoor and outdoor activity areas and materials
- Monitor children in various settings and ensure their safety and well-being
- Perform routine care giving tasks and interact with children and parents
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- One year of general experience working with children in a group setting
- Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Pass a Tier 1 background investigation and Civilian Medical Clearance Examination
