Child/Adolescent Psychiatry - Physician
About the role
The successful candidate will join a dynamic team at Trillium Place Young Minds Center, an innovative child and adolescent inpatient and outpatient center within Carle Health. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a national model of care, providing comprehensive mental health services to youth and families.
Responsibilities
- Provide 100% outpatient, 100% inpatient, or a blend of both inpatient/outpatient psychiatric services
- Serve as a primary psychiatrist for the center, overseeing APPs and collaborating with other providers
- Manage a caseload of patients requiring inpatient and/or outpatient treatment
- Supervise APPs and other mental health professionals in the center
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Participate in rotating call schedule for the dedicated Child & Adolescent facility
- Contribute to the expansion and innovation of behavioral health services at Trillium Place Young Minds Center
Requirements
- Fellowship-trained in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
- Experience in inpatient and/or outpatient settings preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Current license to practice medicine in the state of Illinois
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in Psychiatry
- Completion of a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship

- Strong clinical skills in child and adolescent psychiatry
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to manage a busy caseload
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in child and adolescent psychiatry

Pay
The compensation range for this position is $350,000 - $355,000. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked, and compensation model.
Schedule
The rotating call schedule for the dedicated Child & Adolescent facility is fully integrated into the daily operations of the center.
