About the role
We are seeking Child Psychiatrists to join our clinical team in the Salt Point, NY area. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative environment, working with colleagues who share your commitment to clinical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric care to children and adolescents
- Collaborate with mid-level providers as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Manage medication regimens and provide psychotherapy
- Participate in case conferences and peer supervision
- Conduct intake assessments and develop treatment plans
- Engage in research and teaching activities
Requirements
- Full license in one or more US states
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Unencumbered DEA license
Qualifications
- Experience in both medication management and therapy for child and adolescent populations
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with patients and families
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for providing compassionate and effective care to children and adolescents
