Child & Adolescent Neuropsychologist - Butler Hospital
About the role
Butler Hospital seeks a full time child/adolescent neuropsychologist to conduct both psychological and neuropsychological assessments on an inpatient (50%) and outpatient (50%) basis. Referral questions include, but are not limited to, neurodevelopmental disorders, psychiatric disorders, and neurological disorders. Assessment support is typically available for some of the cases through a technician or student.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological and neuropsychological assessments on inpatients and outpatients
- Collaborate with the clinic director and administrative team
- Work within the medical and outpatient communities
- Provide assessment support for some cases through a technician or student
- Have competence with a broad spectrum of clinical presentations
- Be knowledgeable in child/adolescent neuropsychological assessment
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Train graduate-level and post-graduate level students
Requirements
- Candidates must have a PhD or PsyD
- Must have completed a 2-year post-doctoral fellowship in neuropsychology
- Experience in neuropsychology is preferred (2+ years after fellowship)
- Board certification or eligibility is preferred
