About the Role

True Rx Health Strategists is seeking an accomplished and visionary Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our Executive Leadership Team and help lead the next chapter of growth for our organization. This is a unique opportunity for a transformational and entrepreneurial leader who thrives on building high-performing teams, improving organizational effectiveness, and translating strategic vision into measurable results. Working closely with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team, the COO will play a critical role in strengthening operations, advancing enterprise-wide initiatives, and positioning True Rx for long-term success.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Turn Strategy into Results: Collaborate with executive leadership to drive company priorities and long-term business objectives. Ensure organizational focus, alignment, and accountability across multiple functions. Help shape the direction of the organization through strategic planning and thoughtful decision-making.
• Build for the Future: Evaluate and enhance systems, processes, and infrastructure to support continued growth. Lead initiatives that improve effectiveness, streamline operations, and increase organizational capacity. Establish meaningful performance measures and leverage data to drive business decisions.
• Elevate the Experience: Provide executive oversight of operational and clinical functions. Champion quality, innovation, and continuous improvement throughout the organization. Foster exceptional client experiences and long-term strategic partnerships.
• Drive Innovation & Growth: Identify emerging market trends, operational opportunities, and innovative solutions that support organizational growth. Partner with executive leadership to assess and advance strategic initiatives. Represent True Rx with clients, partners, industry stakeholders, and the broader healthcare community.
• Lead People & Performance: Inspire, coach, and develop high-performing leaders and teams. Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, transparency, and results. Lead organizational change initiatives with confidence and purpose.

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required.
• Active pharmacist license in good standing required.
• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience within healthcare, pharmacy benefit management (PBM), or a related industry.
• 10+ years of executive or senior leadership experience.
• Proven track record of leading organizational growth, operational transformation, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Experience guiding complex organizations through periods of change and expansion.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution.
• Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated success developing teams and driving organizational performance.

Qualifications

• MBA, MHA, MPH, or other advanced business degree preferred.
• Advanced healthcare-related degree preferred.
• Experience leading large, cross-functional teams and enterprise-wide initiatives.
• Deep understanding of healthcare operations, clinical strategy, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.

Schedule

Remote within the United States with periodic travel for onboarding, leadership meetings, client engagements, and business-related events.
