Responsibilities

• Participate in operational decision-making processes necessary for the successful attainment of the hospital’s mission.
• Maintain awareness of changes in healthcare that could impact the hospital’s success.
• Assist in the administration and coordination of hospital activities of any assigned department and/or section.
• Assume duties of the CEO in his/her absence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field; Master’s degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration from an accredited institution preferred.
• Minimum 4 years recent experience in a managerial position at an acute care hospital.
• Experience running multiple hospital departments simultaneously, preferably a combination of support and non-nursing clinical departments.
• Experience in physician relations and/or recruitment.
• Basic knowledge of hospital financial systems required.
• Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and/or relevant work experience, and 10 years of progressive experience including 8 years in management/leadership roles.
