Chief Operating Officer

About the role

Responsible for the day-to-day management and oversight of patient care programs furnished by Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center. Serves as the Chief Executive Officer’s strategic partner in leading enterprise operations, executing organizational strategy, driving operational excellence, and ensuring exceptional patient, physician, and team member experiences across the enterprise.

Scope

Functions Leads patient care operations across the MBPCC enterprise Executes enterprise-wide operational strategy and organizational growth Drives organizational performance and financial stewardship Leads operational excellence through people, partnerships, and innovation Serves as a responsible member of the senior management team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree Required, Masters in Business Administration or Healthcare preferred
• 15+ years of clinical and business management required.
• Experience in financial and administrative operations, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Must also have proven experience in information technology planning, organization, and development.
