About the Role

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) plays a pivotal role in driving operational excellence across Lumelight, ensuring business operations are efficient, effective, and aligned with the company’s overall objectives. This role oversees day-to-day operations and implements strategies designed to enhance productivity and organizational performance. Working closely with the executive team, the COO helps develop and execute Lumelight’s strategic plan, align operational goals with business objectives, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. The COO is instrumental in positioning the organization for sustainable growth and success in a competitive market.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring departments function efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to drive business growth and improve overall performance.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve operational excellence.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and best practices across the organization.
  • Support alignment and collaboration across departments to advance company-wide strategic objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and operational effectiveness.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support Lumelight’s business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior operational role with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong understanding of operational strategy, performance management, KPI monitoring, and organizational improvement.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management ability, strategic planning capability, and success driving operational performance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience in a leadership role within a similar industry.
  • Advanced strategic planning and project management experience.
  • Experience leading cross-functional operational improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success supporting organizational growth and operational efficiency.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to collaborate across departments and present strategies to executive leadership.

Work Environment

This position is a remote role within approved Lumelight states. This job operates in a professional office environment, whether in person or remotely. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers. Equipment will be provided to you.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, following an agreed-upon schedule. Additional or extended hours may be required based on business needs.
