About the role
The Chief of Radiology for Missouri Baptist Medical Center (MBMC), Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital (MBSH), and their satellite locations is sought. This role combines high-level clinical practice with strategic leadership, serving as the clinical and administrative leader for radiology services.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients, ensuring evidence-based and compassionate clinical management.
- Collaborates with nurses, advanced practitioners, specialists, case managers, and ancillary staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Records all patient encounters, orders, and follow-up information accurately in EPIC to meet WashU Medicine and regulatory standards.
- Maintains active licensure and privileges, complies with WashU Medicine policies, and upholds ethical, regulatory, and confidentiality requirements.
Requirements
No specific work experience is required for this position.
Qualifications
- ABR certified in Diagnostic Radiology and have substantial post-residency clinical experience in a hospital-based practice.
- Strong leadership skills, emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and the ability to build relationships across teams and disciplines.
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills are essential.
