About the Role

The City of Delavan, Wisconsin is seeking a Chief of Police to replace the retiring chief. The Chief is the senior law‑enforcement officer in the city and is responsible for managing the Delavan Police Department.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for the Delavan Police Department.
• Manage departmental operations, personnel, and resources.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and strategic plans.
• Oversee community policing initiatives and public safety programs.
• Collaborate with the Police and Fire Commission and other city officials.

Requirements

Compensation

Salary range: $124,000 – $131,000, dependent on qualifications and experience.
